Son trabajadores municipales y voluntarios que desde el COE se constituyen en los primeros contactos entre los pacientes y los médicos, enfermeros y demás profesionales de la salud. Son los encargados de mantener un diálogo con aquellos que sufren, que se sienten solos, que están aislados…
Están dando todo lo mejor de cada uno de ellos durante todo el día y todos los días. Merecen nuestro reconocimiento y respeto por la importante misión a su cargo.
El servicio nos hace salir de nuestra comodidad y renunciar a nuestro tiempo, para sacar lo mejor de nosotros y enriquecernos con los demás, siempre con humildad a fin de darle un sentido a nuestras vidas y las del prójimo. Es crecer interiormente, es hacer germinar el amor que tenemos todos en el corazón.
